Q: Is Medifast a high or low carbohydrate diet?

A: While it is not necessarily classified as such, Medifast is a low-carbohydrate diet in principle. The program actually is deceptively low in calories, which is why so many friends have had great results so quickly.

Q: Ok – How many calories are low?

A: Good question! Depending on what you prepare for your “lean and green” choice, which will take place from 1000-1200 calories per day. There are some people who actually do even a little less! (Although I like to keep it at 1000 or up)

Q: I heard a lot about Lean and Green …. What exactly?

A: Your choice, 7 ounces of fish, chicken, tofu or lean meat in combination with all the vegetables you can eat! (Or at least that’s the amount you prepare ..:-) Essentially, this is your daily dinner and a meal than in packaging and comes in a package of replacement.

Q: I am familiar with the weight Citizen. Are there any local meetings for Medifast?

A: Probably not. Although you can create your own … Medifast program has been designed for men and women on the go and not to those who have much time for meetings ..:-) There are a lot of online support, and lots of forums, recipes and friends should you need them!
